Interruption flows for reliability evaluation of power distribution networks

چکیده
Energy networks should strive for reliability. How can it be assessed, measured, and improved? What are the best trade-offs between investments their worth? The flow-based framework reliability assessment of energy proposed in this paper addresses these questions with a focus on power distribution networks. introduces concept iflows, or interruption flows, which translate analytical evaluation into solving series node balance equations computable linear time. iflows permeate network, providing relevant information to support formulations optimization problems. Numerical examples showcase process obtained through illustrative distributed generation. A new visual representation state, called iflow diagram, provides insights most vulnerable regions network. methodology was validated by practical application optimal allocation switches systems. Computational experiments were conducted using benchmark networks, having up 881 nodes. results confirm effectiveness approach terms high-quality aid decisions
